By night she wanders the house unseen. Inspired by the folklore of the Rokurokubi, 12 Tatami Rooms captures the stillness of a rain-soaked evening in an old Japanese home. Incense smolders in distant rooms, cypress beams absorb the damp air, and wet tatami releases earthy perfume beneath the rhythm of falling rain. Haunting and deeply atmospheric.

In Japanese folklore, Mokumokuren reveals itself through countless eyes peering from the tears of old paper screens. Yuki-onna, the snow spirit of Japanese folklore who drifts through winter storms like a living apparition, White Lanterns glows softly against a frozen landscape. Inspired by Umibōzu, the immense sea spirit said to rise from dark waters and swallow ships whole, Black Tide is the scent of the open ocean at night. Salt-laden waves churn beneath a moonless sky as notes of seaweed and black pepper drift through cold marine air. Earthy vetiver anchors the depths below, evoking endless water, hidden currents, and something vast stirring beneath the surface. Dark, foreboding, the scent of looking out across black water and sensing that something is looking back.

Inspired by Karakasa-kozo, the one-eyed umbrella yokai who spends rainy evenings startling unsuspecting travelers, Hundred Year Rain wanders through misty streets with equal parts charm and mischief. Notes of petrichor and rice paper mingle with black ink and weathered cade, and sweet plum candies.
This one is my favorite yokai, playful, silly and a little strange, it captures the feeling of hearing footsteps behind you on a rainy night—only to discover an umbrella hopping happily down the road.

Inspired by the centuries of yearning at the heart of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Oceans of Time weaves together intoxicating datura, absinthe, blood, earth, and thieves oil into a fragrance both beautiful and sorrowful. Dark florals bloom from rich soil while ancient spices linger like memories carried across centuries. Gothic, passionate, and steeped in longing, it captures the moment when love endures beyond mortality itself.
Possibly one of my favorite films of all time it took me quite a while to create this. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
