Madame du Barry or Comtesse du Barry was famously the mistress of King Louis XV. In that roll she had the ear of the king on most important issues of the land and was famously hated for it. She was the most influential woman in France during this time and one of the most beautiful, being envied by Marie Antoinette because of it. By far the most interesting component of my Rococo Collection. I have paid homage to the Comtesse with the scent of lait sucre (sugar milk) and violets.
